Building Process

Building Process:

Robot building instructions.

Building plan.

After constructing the robot we controlled it using a phone. We made it go forward, backward, and sideways. Then we constructed our own code to make it move.

Back side of Jeff the Robot
Ride side of Jeff the Robot
Front Side of Jeff the Robot
Top side of Jeff the Robot
Bottom of Robot Jeff, we put tape on it because that was the only thing I could put because the breaks didn’t work on it.

Programming:

Programming took a while to do because it was new to me and my partner(Jordan), but at the end we finally got it.

This was the very first programming we did. It moved, but it moved backwards and it moved to the right side
This was the second time we tried it, we made the tires spin -95 on both sides. It went forward. The only problem was that it went too far and it turned to the left still.
This was the final code we constructed. We added brakes to the front wheel so it wouldn’t turn. No problems to it, went forward in a press of a button. Repeated it more than 3 times and it worked perfectly.

Testing:

After a few trial and errors we finally got it to move. It did what we wanted it to do and it did it more than 3 times in a row. So overall we did pretty good. It was a challenge and we succeeded
